How to make easy bunting

To make easy bunting.

The Flags
(these are triangles but they can be any shape you want)

- if using heavy fabric, like denim, simply cut your triangle:

fold the edges over and press,

and zig-zag stitch the 2 long sides.

- if using lightweight fabric, like shirting, cut 2 triangles:

sandwich together and press,

and stitch the 2 long sides.

If, like me, your edges are uneven simply trim the edges with scissors, or better, pinking shears.

Stringing the Flags

I used 1.5cm cotton tape for the string and simply folded this over the unsewn edge of the flag and stitched through all the layers (I'm sure yours will be neater!)

I spaced the flags their own width apart,
to get this.

Can you do better?
